We started off the morning with a delicious breakfast. Have I mentioned that I am obsessed with the yogurt here? Sooo much better than American yogurt!! Then we made our way to visit Westminster Abbey, which is the official church of the Church of England. The Queen presides over this church, and they hold all of the royal coronations and weddings in the chapel here. It also receives quite a bit of attention for all the famous people that are buried there, including Mary Queen of Scots, Elizabeth I, Bloody Mary, many other kings and queens of England, C. S. Lewis, George Frederick Handel, the Bronte sisters, Robert and Elizabeth Browning, Lewis Carroll, Isaac Newton, and many other well know people! They also keep the famous coronation chair there that the new monarch sits on during the ceremony. It was amazing to be in a place that so many important people have also visited. Unfortunately, we were not permitted to take pictures inside the Abbey, but I did take a few outside. It was gorgeous!!
