Today we began our trip to the North! We started off the tour by riding in the bus for hours and finally arriving at the city of York. Luckily, I got to ride the bus with the lovely Lauren, so of course we had a blast! When we got to York, we first stopped at the York Minster, which is a beautiful church with lots of stained glass built mostly in the Gothic style. We stopped for lunch at a small pub called The Habit, and had a very interesting sandwich... I ordered a Mac and Cheese sandwich with pulled pork, and it was surprisingly amazing!! Then we just walked around the city for a little while visiting places like the famous Walls of York, Jorvik Viking Centre, and more. We stayed in a nice hotel, and I got to be roommates with Hailey! We had a blast, doing things like making Cadbury hot chocolate with the coffee maker, pedicures, watching British TV, and just laughing our heads off. :)
