St. Paul's and Buckingham Palace

This morning we had the opportunity to tour St. Paul's Cathedral as a class and climb all the way to the top!  528 stairs total... it was killer! The view was spectacular though.  After that, we went on another walk for class around St. James Park and past Buckingham Palace.  Luckily, this walk didn't take too long and we were able to make time for shopping as well!  I found my Mom's birthday gift, and I am so excited about it!  We also found a Ben's Cookies shop.  They are supposed to be one of the best places in London to get a cookie, and I think I agree.  Hayli and I split a Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookie, and it was so delicious!  Anyways, it was a great day that was relaxing and not very busy.  This entire week has been like that, and the break from all the craziness has been so amazing.  Life is good! :)

The biggest stairwell we climbed today.. they just got smaller.

The inside of the biggest dome from the whispering gallery.  By standing at one end, you could clearly hear another person whispering across the dome!

View from the first landing around the dome.

Hayli and I on the landing at the bottom of the Dome.

The very top of the Dome!  This is the side of it looking down.

View from the very top!!

Lunch on the steps of St. Paul's.

This is our picture with the Queen.  The flag is flying, so technically... She's in our picture too. :)
