A Day in Greenwich

Today we took a boat along the Thames River to Greenwich.  This city has been featured in quite a few movies, such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Thor 2, the Dark Knight, Sense and Sensibility, Les Miserables, and more!  We got to visit many of these sights, whether they be courtyards, the top of a building, painted hallways, etc.  The Prime Meridian, which is the division between the Eastern and Western Hemispheres, also runs right through Greenwich!  Therefore, I can now say that I have literally been on both halves of the world at once. :) Needless to say, it was a good day! :)

Our boat ride! Me, Lauren, Hayli!

It was really heavy and terribly hard to see, but Kathryn insisted... :)

List of the movies filmed in Greenwich as well as a picture of the place where they were filmed.

Les Mis! (For you, Madeline:))

Courtyard as seen in Thor 2

Painted Chapel, as in Pirates of the Caribbean

Seconds after this photo was taken it started pouring buckets of rain... Finally some real London weather!!
